This highly polished, standing Fluorite Point is stunning to see and feel.
Fluorite or fluor-spar is such a beautiful stone that ranges in colour from green to purple and back again.
It is a mineral composed of calcium fluoride and is found extensively in the UK.
As well as ornamental uses Fluorite is used in the making of hydrofluoric acid and as a flux in the manufacture of steel.
The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluo meaning flow in reference to its use as a flux.
This standing point is between 40-50mm tall.
Each crystal point is unique and variations in colour will occur.
